FINAL ILLUSTRATION OF EVA YBARRA'S EDITORIAL PORTRAITURE AS APPEARED IN TEXAS HIGHWAYS' PUBLICATION

LINE DRAWING OF EVA'S PORTRAIT AND THE SAME PORTRAIT IN COLOR. I TYPICALLY DRAW THE BACKGROUNDS SEPARATELY.

A LOOK AT THE PROCESS: SOMETIMES I CREATE A NUMBER OF IMAGES AND LAYOUTS BEFORE I COME UP THE "ONE". THE ABOVE SKETCHES ARE ROUGHS IN BLACK, GREY AND WHITE, JUST TO CREATE DIMENSIONALITY IN THESE PRELIMINARY PROCESS. I SEND THESE TO MY ART DIRECTOR AND WE TAKE IT FROM THERE.

FINAL PORTRAIT IN COLOR.
